Pêche Petite had the pleasure of working with wedding designer Molly McKinley again last fall (she designed this amazing wedding too!) and the results were spectacular! All photographs by the talented Kendra Elise.
As you can see from the graphic invitations, this was a fresh approach to the traditional wedding style.
Geometric shapes, dreamy bright colors and festive lights create a playful reception space at The Granite Room in downtown Atlanta.
A simple two tier almond cake with a custom topper of the couple’s names was the main focal point of the dessert table.
Glittery gold heart flags decorated the two satellite cakes – lemon lavender and raspberry white chocolate – providing more flavors for guests to enjoy!
In keeping with the geometric theme, we made cake squares instead of round cupcakes for guests to easily grab and go. Colored frosting is drizzled over the three flavors – chocolate, caramel, and vegan carrot – to continue the palette.
You can find the cake square frosting colors and gold in the table centerpieces and on the modern flatware. I love the protea floral arrangement!
Here’s the cute couple cutting the cake!
It’s so exciting to be part of a couple’s big day, especially a wedding as stylish and contemporary as this one!xoxo, Erin B pastry chef
